Blood in the Snow: The thriller that will give you chillsBlood in the Snow: The thriller that will give you chills by Franco Marks
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When four young woman are found dead in an apartment in the ski resort of Valdiluce. It is Marzio Santoni job to investigate. Although everyone in the town hopes that it is suicide or an accident he is not sure.
Although an interesting story the writing style was not to my taste. Whether this is because of the original style or translation that is difficult to tell.

Last Light (Detective Lucy Harwin #3)Last Light by Helen Phifer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A body has been discovered in an old abandoned church. Detective Lucy Harwin is assigned the case, her first murder inquiry as the lead detective. Is this just a one off or will more bodies be found. Although most of the book is told from Harwin's point of view there are chapters which relate the childhood of the unknown killer.
Although it was an interesting, well-written story I just didn't take to the character of Harwin or some of her actions.
