In this Pride and prejudice variation we have Elizabeth ill at the Hunsford Parsonage when Darcy comes to propose. He proposes quickly and because of her illness Elizabeth is unaware that she has actually accepted.
Once well again she finds that her friends and relations now know of the engagement and therefore it becomes difficult to break it off.
An enjoyable read.
