MURDER AT BERTRAM'S BOWER by Cynthia Peale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1892 Boston and two females have been murdered. Both were residents of Betram's Bower a safe haven for fallen women. The home is run by Agatha Montgomery, and her brother Rev Randolph Montgomery involves himself with the fundraising. Friends to Agatha, brother and sister Addington and Caroline Ames carry out their own investigation.
An enjoyable read with its likeable characters
