Spring 1943 A request comes from a Nun for Jack Ryder, P.I. or Fixer as he prefers, and if he succeeds the nun will receive money to help Jewish children in Europe. The money would come from Adam Lonigan and only if Ryder can solve the murder of his daughter Rebecca.
