1599 London. Poet Edmund Spenser has been discovered dead. Friend Tom Mugrave, after viewing the body decides it must be murder and so investigates. Ultimately this leads to the involvement of powerful people of the Court.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters.
