The Duke if Charmerace has finally arrived at the home of his fiance. The father M. Gournay-Martin has received notice that Arsene Lupin, renowned thief, will steal certain items at a certain time. But Detective Guerchard is determined to finally catch him.
Fairly obvious who Lupin is from virtually the beginning but still an entertaining read.
