1940s Lipton St. Faith. Postman Ted Fleming has had a bicycle accident but his wife doesn't believe it was and so asks vicar's daughter Anna Grix to investigate. She recruits/forces American Lt Eddie Elsner to help.
An entertaining historical mystery but I did find Anna unlikeable.
