August 1918. A body of a female is discovered in Kensington Gardens, that of 22 year old Elizabeth 'Bessie' Clayton. Inspector Derwent and his team investigate ablely help by WPS Dorothy Peto. Then there is another death. But why and by whom. Is The Ripper really back.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
