1361 Marske. While holding a court session Sir Ralph de Manderville, Justice of the Peace, is informed of the discovery of a Nun in a boat on the River Swale. But this is not the first death in recent years, and it will not be the last. Sir Ralph, with his assistants Marek and Peter Longwood, investigate. But what could be the possible motive for all the deaths and is there more than one killer.
An entertaining historical mystery with its interesting main characters. A good second book in this enjoyable series.
