An Unlamented Death by William SavageMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
1792 when Dr Bascom visited the Gressington churchyard he comes across a body, that of archdeacon Ross. He is not convinced that the ruling of the coroner is correct, and so spends sometime asking questions.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery. A good start to this new series
