House of Peril by Cara DevlinMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
December 1821. Hugh, Viscount Neatham, is summoned by Bow Street’s Chief Magistrate to the carriage house of Messinger M.P. where the body of a female, later identified as Miss Penelope Harwood, daughter to an impoverished baron, has been found. But what could be the possible motive for her death and by whom.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable and interesting main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
