I enjoyed this story as it was not just about Darcy and Elizabeth

Enjoyed what was written, I just wish it was finished as I wanted to know what was going to happen to the two unmarried Bennet daughters

Mine at Midnight by Adele Clee

1825. Eliza Dutton, Enquiry Agent, to The Order is working for Lord Adam Roxburgh. Her aim is to discover who killed a Mr Ashbury in the Lord’s garden. Suspicion has fallen on his secretary Godfrey Bloom, and his sister Lillian was discovered in the garden at the time. Danger seems to be around them, but can they together find the guilty party and the motive.
Overall an entertaining and well-written historical mystery, with its likeable and varied characters. It is the third in the series but can easily be read as a standalone story.
The story has mature content.

The Holy City Hustle by Ron Plante Jr.

1938 Charleston. During a presentation by Mayor Swanson to Duke Dempsey, the mayor is killed, assassinated. Dempsey and his mentor Detective Stampkin investigate. Unfortunately it is a story about organised crime which is of little interest to me.
Overall an enjoyable mystery

Murder at the National Gallery by Jim Eldridge

February 1897. Daniel Wilson is called in to investigate when a body of a prostitute and artist’s model is found at the entrance to the National Gallery, and painter Walter Sickert is arrested. Meanwhile his partner Abigail Fenton is organising an expedition to Egypt. But then another body is discovered. Is Sickert guilty or is he being framed, and if so by whom.
Another well-written and entertaining historical mystery in this series. With its varied and likeable characters, especially the two main characters. Another good addition to this series.

Wedding is Destiny, and Hanging Likewise by sqbr

This Pride and prejudice sequel is the story of the growing friendship between Mary Bennet and Anne de Bourgh. A friendship that develops into more, against the constraints of society.
The story may not be for everyone, but there is no 'mature content'.
But it was a story I enjoyed and just re-read.

A modern sequel to P&P where the story of the Bennet business Meryton Matchmakers continues. But what of the people. Will the elder Bennet sisters ever understand their hearts. But what about Darcy and Charles.
Having just met, Mary Bennet and the Colonel, are unsure about their relationship or what it even is, can they possible have a happy ending.
I enjoyed this modern variation of Pride and Prejudice, and as it contains the story of my favourite couple in JAFF makes it even better. Another enjoyable re-read
