It's September 1917 and Captain Lacey has decided to visit his old ancestral home in Norfolk. And the criminal, James Denis has requested that Lacey deliver a letter to Brigadier Easton, one of his neighbours. But this is only the start of his troubles - stolen paintings, discoveries from his past, as Denis and his men descend on Norfolk.
Still thoroughly enjoying this series and the character that is Lacey.
