Mary Bennet, twenty-two years old, is the last of the sisters still at home. A neighbour, Thomas Bowens, has acquired the care of his nephew and nieces after his sister dies. With the result that he hires Mary as their governess.
A delightful, well-written story, with a likeable Mary. I intend to read more of this authors' works.
