Murder Never Retires by Faith Martin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Eighteen months have passed since DI Hillary Greene retired. Months of travelling the canals of England but she is home now and bored. So she joins the cold case team back at her old station where her new boss Superintendent Steven Crayle, being unsure of her, gives Hillary a difficult case as her first one. Twenty years ago Mrs Anne McRae was killed in her kitchen, though there was a suspect nothing could be proven. And what about Hillary's stalker, how will that resolve itself.
Another good, interesting well-written mystery in this series, now with some new characters added to the mix. Already looking forward to the next.
