With this sequel to Tempt You to Accept Me, it is now the time to read Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam story (be still my beating heart). On a months holiday from his regiment it is his intention to enjoy himself. Then at Almanack one evening he meets Augusta Hawthorne, who at 29, has decided that her position is now to chaperone her niece.
A very enjoyable variation but then I am a Colonel fan.
