The target of a local crime ware is the sportswear clothes entitled Hybird X, re-selling for thousands of pounds. Street muggings, and burglaries accelerate to a death just for the sake of an item of clothing. Then another body is found. But then D.S. Evans has to deal with a past friendship with another police office gone wrong. Is anything connected to the other. It is up to D.I. Jackson and his team to investigate.
Again another well-written interesting mystery in this series with some well-drawn characters.
