Lady Phoebe's elder sister Julia seems in a distressed state with her pregnancy. But worse events occur when the new head gardener Stephen Ripley is found dead, killed. To lady's maid Eva and Lady Phoebe there seems to be more suspects than just Stephen's brother Keenan.
An enjoyable fast-paced, cozy historical mystery with its cast of likeable characters.
