Dead and Gone by Stephen Puleston
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
DI Ian Drake receives a late night phone call from a history department colleague of his partner Annie. Concern for him leads them to his home, but he has disappeared. The next day another staff member at Bangor University fails to turn up for work. Then a body of a female is discovered.
Drake and his team investigate trying to uncover a motive, and a link between the two, if there is one.
An entertaining well-written modern mystery with its cast of likeable and varied characters Another well-plotted story which is a good addition to this series.
