Murder on the Pneumatic Railway by Lisa M. Lane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
London 1870 Horace Wright a postal clerk is discovered dead inside a pneumatic railway car. Surgeon Samuel Light was seen arguing with him, and so was promtly arrested and charged by Inspector Morgan. Friends including Tommy Jones know he is innocent and so they begin their investigations.
But what could be the possible motive, and if Light is innocent who is the guilty party.
An entertaining Victorian mystery with its cast of varied and likeable characters. A good addition to this trilogy.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher via Library Thing and am voluntarily leaving a review
