1877. Government servant Anthony Cloudsdale has gone missing after delivering importent secret papers. Which seem to have been opened and possibly copied before delivery some how. Can twenty-three year old Holmes find the missing man and the secret copier, with help from Arthur Stamford.
An entertaining and well-written Holmes mystery. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
