Mercy of the Moon by Jennifer Taylor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1734 England and midwife Maggie Wilson's sister- Sarah - has died giving birth. When Apothecary Ian Pierce delivers Sarah home, alive, the people of the town become suspicious, and old superstitions come to the fore. But with the help of Ian can Maggie determine who is responsible.
I enjoyed this tale, the mystery, and the characters (well the good ones).
