Candidate for Murder by Lauren Carr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
When Police Chief David O’Callaghan and Dallas Walker's dinner had been eaten by their dogs they end up at the Spencer Inn, where the candidates for Mayor of Spencer are debating. Then the Butterfly Effect takes over starting with a fight, a new candidate, the revealing of corruption, and then murders. Reaching further afield than Spencer, and do we find out why Gnarly was dishonourable discharged from the army. All the gang get together to solve these mysteries.
A really enjoyable read, and a welcome back to the likable characters.
