Murder in Capital Letters: A Crampton of the Chronicle novella by Peter Bartram
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
It's July 1962 and Colin Crampton is shown a 'valuable letter' - a Royal love letter dated 17 April 1788 - which he straightaway knows is a forgery. He is asked by the owner to try and get his money from 'Freddie the Forger'. When Colin arrives at Freddie's business he finds him dead. The line of suspects seems never-ending.
An enjoyable tale.
