It's December 1959 Hertfordshire and DCI Callum is call out to an orphanage to investigate the brutal killing of a novice nun. When his main suspect is killed next, Callum has to re-think the motive. In the days before the modern technologies, Callum and his team have to reply on their investigative skills and unfortunately the prejudices of the day.
An interesting read with decent characters, and thankfully I did not work out who the murderer was.
