It is now six years since the French invaded England. Years where Darcy has tried to keep his sister safe, but is called traitor because of it. But not all the Bennets are faring well. Then Darcy comes to Netherfield and meets Elizabeth.
As someone who loves history I would have enjoyed reading more about the background of the invasion and actions since then, particularly about all of the Fitzwilliam family.
But still an enjoyable variation.
