A re-read as I intend to read the series.
In 1820 the brother of the Rev. Underwood arrives at Bracken Tor to recuperate from the trials of teaching at Cambridge Univerity. Soon he finds a grave marked Unknown, and as he enjoys solving puzzles decides to investigate her murder.
Well-developed characters, with a well-written mystery with some romance.
