1347 At Ravenser Odd Father Ranulf has committed suicide. But why. Justice of the Peace Sir Guy de Haghe with his men investigate. But there are strange currents underlying the area. Can the case be solved while being sidetracked by a land claim.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable and varied characters. A good start to this series.
