1473 Exeter. On entering the city Roger Chapman is summoned to the presence of Richard, Duke of Gloucester. His mission is to accompany Royal messenger Philip Underdown to Plymouth and deliver him abroad the ship Falcon. All does not go to plan and Roger must discover a killer to save himself.
