The Mystery of the Hasty Arrow by Anna Katharine Green
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A young girl is shot by an arrow at a New York museum. But by whom and why. The museum is quickly closed down to capture the guilty party. Can detective Gryce with the help if Sweetwater discover the truth. Gryce decides before the half way point of the story who the guilty party is, it is then just a matter of why.
Overall an entertaining read if somewhat over long.
