My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A Pride and Prejudice sequel in the epistolary style. Lydia has arrived in Newcastle and in her letters she describes making friends and all the events she attends over the next two years, but very little about Wickham or her domestic life. After each letter there are explanatory notes of Newcastle and the events. A pity that we were not subjected to her actual thoughts on Wickham and married life, her domestic situation as she wrote the letters.
Overall an enjoyable and informative read.
