A Shroud of Snow by Sarah HawkswoodMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
December, 1145. Hamelin Isenmongere, a popular trader from Gloucester, is found dead near his warehouse on the riverside. Undersheriff Hugh Bradecote, Serjeants Catchpoll and Walkelin investigate. Complications occur when they are informed of a potential spy in Worcester Castle.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable and interesting characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
An ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
