How did the character of Darcy come about? What was his life like before he met Elizabeth Bennet? Here we read of the life of Fitzwilliam Darcy, of his parents, of Pemberley, his cousin Fitzwilliam and of course Wickham. Including his time at university where he meets a Bingley, followed by Grand Tour of the continent, up to the time of the Meryton Assembly. This means that only a glimpse is seen of Elizabeth.
