Murder at the Mayfair Hotel by C.J. Archer

24th December 1899. Orphan Cleopatra Fox has come to live with her aunt and her family, owners of the Mayfair Hotel. The next day one of the guests is discovered dead, murdered. Cleo decides to investigate. Unfortunately jumping to unverified conclusions she has no qualms about destroying two innocent people's lives with no evidence of them being murderers. I found her character unlikeable.
