After being betrayed Miss Lillian Ware is writing a book on how to spot a rogue. On discovering this Callan MacLean, the Duke of Dounreay, offers his help. But they are soon witnesses to an abduction and decide to investigate. But what of the relationship between them, can Lillian overcome her past fears and trust Callan.
An entertaining and well-written romantic mystery (with mature content) with its likeable and varied characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
