The Murders in Praed Street by John Rhode
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The first to die in Praed Street is greengrocer James Tovey. But there will be more. Inspector Whyland investigates but has no idea to why or by whom. Eventually Dr Priestley enters the narrative.
An entertaining historical mystery though the reader knows the motive.
