A Pride and Prejudice variation. 1781 Captain Thomas Bennet aka Paradox is recruited for undercover work during the war. His reward is a knighthood and the ownership of Longbourn. Years later he is happily married with three daughters. Unfortunately Mary's appearance causes problems within the family and the community. How will this affect the family and herself. What of bennet's past.
A well-written and entertaining story, an enjoyable re-read.
