Harold Marsh,reviewer and critic, is visiting Torwood Park, owned by Canadian Jefferson Jenkins. Approaching the estate he meets Horne Fisher, cousin to Howard Horne, M.P.,who is a guest on the estate. They witness a fatal car accident, dead is Sir Humphrey Turnbull. Considering the accident how is he dead. Horne Fisher investigates.
