The Patient Man (DI Jackman & DS Evans, #6)The Patient Man by Joy Ellis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kenneth Harcourt of Wit's End has suffered a burglary of his expensive guns, just after a burglary at his The Fenside Gun Club. Then there is a shooting, by a military rifle, of Christopher Keye a hit and run suspect in the death of Kirstie Harcourt.
If that is not enough for the team to cope with there is a series of petty crimes at the local farms.
Plus the biggest concern is that wanted killer, Alistair Ashcroft, is still at large.
Soon there will be more murders all witnessed by DC Kevin Stoner.
Are all these events connected, what are the motives. DI Jackman and his team investigate.
An enjoyable and well-written modern crime story, another good addition to this series with its cast of likeable characters.
Received an ARC from the publisher.
