The Solitary Witness: A Sherlock and Lucy Short Story by Anna Elliott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lord Anthony Dale and his wife are in the chambers of 221b Baker Street. Lady Constance, his wife, has been shot at, but thankfully it only grazed her forehead. They are seeking protection because she is a witness, the solitary witness left, for the prosecution of a Laurence Linden. He has been charged with the murder of their neighbour Mr Henrik van Rensburg. On the night of the murder Lady Constantance, saw a man leave the house which she later identified as Linden.
An enjoyable and well-written mystery, another fine addition to this series.
Received an ARC from the authors.
