Black Danube: A Leo Katz Mystery (Leo Katz Mysteries Book 1)Black Danube: A Leo Katz Mystery by Nik Grybaski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Vienna 1899. Leo Katz, crime photographer, is summoned by Klaus Rosenbloom, pathologist to take photographs of a dead male. The man was called Ira Weiss and his fiancee Hannah Rothwell, has for some reason confessed. Is this the first murder and will there be more, and what is the motive. But what is Leo hiding concerning his past.
An interesting and enjoyable historical mystery, well-written and with a cast of varied characters. A good solid start to a new series.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers Only and am voluntarily leaving a review.
