In this P&P variation, Darcy has just proposed and been rejected. The Colonel comes across Darcy in his room at Rosings and finding out Darcy's problem suggests that he has a solution to Darcy's despair. So they travel to Scotland.
Enjoyable though a bit of an abrupt ending
