The Biscuit Barrel Murder by Geoffrey Start
1922 The Fescue Detective Agency has been approached to prove the innocence of convicted murderess Josephine Leighton. Who was found guilty of the murder by poison of fiancé George, Viscount Thurmaston. After having cases of only looking for lost animals are are they up to the challenge. Are they a competent group of people.
An enjoyable cozy historical mystery written with humour, with its group of mainly likeable characters. A easy read and a decent start to this new series.
An ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
