Death at Silent Pool: A 1920s Mystery by Benedict Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1928 August Patience Hindmarsh has gone missing but it is not until 22 days later that her husband M.P. Abraham Hindmarsh allows the police with Lord Edgington to investigate. But how many more people have to die before they capture the murderer.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters.
