C2nd A.D. Vindobona. A new gladiatorial school has been opened but has been subjected to a series of incidents - that of the death by poison of its convicts and some of its gladiators. Plus the escape of its wild animals. But why and by whom. Thanar and Layla investigate.
A well-written and entertaining historical mystery with its likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
