October 1928. When the body of archaeologist Gideon Rivers is discovered at the Brack Mound dig, sisters Virginia Wooolf and Vanessa Bell decide to investigate. Because one, they believe the wrong person had been arrested and two to protect another suspect.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its interesting main characters. A good start to this new series.
