June 1869 Famous medium and friend to Lord Jason Redmond, Alicia Lysander, is murdered after a séance that ended early. A séance at the home of the Earl of Ongar, instigated by his second wife Lady Cynthia. Redmond and Haze investigate.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable main characters. Another good addition to this enoyable series.
