Dr. John Bhatt is getting married at the family home of his fiancée, Emily Hartparker, at Coatesworth Manor. Due to their friendship Phyllida Bright has been invited. She decides to take charge, as she believes is her right, when the murder occurs of one of the guests.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable and interesting characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
