The Thief and the Labyrinth (A World’s End Bureau Mystery, 6)The Thief and the Labyrinth by Alys Clare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

London, 1882. American p.i. Henry and Johanna McClellan approach the World’s End Bureau to locate a Bruno Schmidt, lecturer, who persuaded American Ava Werner to elope. They have traced them to London, a city unknown to them. A seemingly straightforward case which becomes complicated.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable and interesting main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
