Death on the Pier (Inspector Ryga Historical Mysteries Book 6)Death on the Pier by Pauline Rowson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

1951, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Inspector Alun Ryga is sent undercover to investigate the case of the disappearing body discovered by Commander Clive Cottinglea as the local police have dismissed it.
But then a body is discovered dead. Contrary to local police opinion Ryga is convinced it murder.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable and interesting main character. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
An ARC was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own
